Autumn 2020 term update

We hope that you have been able to enjoy something of a break over the summer, albeit in these strange and unpredictable times.

Following on from the home learning sheets and the online CPD staff meetings we made available to you before the holidays, we are keen to continue to extend our support to you with all things SfA. We recognise that many of you will be limiting face to face visits and if this is the case, we are happy to provide all, or parts of our training and support online depending on your situation.  Please contact your IP who will be happy to help arrange things. We are very excited about the wider ‘Tutoring with Alphie’ pilot and if you have expressed an interest in being part of this you should have received an email explaining the next steps. Our initial pilot showed very positive results and we are confident this tutoring programme will be extremely useful to schools moving forward. If you have not let us know and you are keen to be involved, please contact your IP.

Before the holidays we were able to share with you how some schools are realigning SfA to ensure they can still run the school day successfully. We know that this will be an ongoing challenge for at least the next term and we will continue to share with you how schools have successfully managed this. If you have adapted your own implementation model and believe it would benefit other schools, it would be great to hear from you so that we can share this with the wider SfA community.

With the new term now upon us, we want to wish you the very best for the months ahead. Please keep in touch and if we can be of any assistance with training, support, staff meetings or general challenges to successful implementation, our experienced and highly skilled team are always ready to support you.
